On the markets, the NZX 50 is down 11 points to 2756.
Goodman Fielder is down 8c to $1.65, Nuplex is down 6c to $1.47, Rakon is down 6c to $1.40, Sanford is down 9c to $5.30, Sky TV is down 11c to $4.05 and Westpac is down 35c to $24.20.
Guinness Peat Group is up 1c to 69c, Lion Nathan is up 3c to $14.63, Michael Hill is up 1c to 63c, Pumpkin Patch is up 1c to $1.46 and Telecom is up 2c to $2.68.
The dollar is buying 63 US cents, 79.04 Australian cents, 44.99 euro cents, 60.40 yen and 38.41 pence.
The 90 day bank rate is 2.83 percent and the TWI is at 59.64.
