New figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics show that Hobart house prices fell slightly during the first quarter of this year.
The price index for established houses in Hobart fell by 0.7 per cent during the March quarter, compared to an overall increase in the national average of just over 0.1 per cent.
There has still been an overall increase of more than 8 per cent in Hobart in the 12 months to March.
