Aura Systems to Deliver Additional $400,000 of AuraGen/VIPER Systems for South Korean Army

Aura Systems, Inc. (AUSI) announced today that it would deliver an additional approximately $400,000 of AuraGen/VIPER systems for a South Korean (ROK) Army application in September 2008.
This is an increase to the $300,000 ROK Army order previously announced on August 1, 2007.
Mr. Gagerman, the Company's CEO said, "This additional delivery to the ROK Army is an example of the continuous expending demand of our power generation system in military applications. There are over 1,300 AuraGen/VIPER systems in use and or under contract for numerous military applications. Many foreign friendly militaries have been testing the AuraGen/VIPER for their unique needs and we could potentially expect orders from them in the coming months. To-date, the AuraGen/VIPER has been successfully deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan by US forces and we are currently under contract for 190 16,000 watts AC/DC AuraGen/VIPER systems for the Coast Guard. Our backlog for military applications is currently at approximately $5.0 million."
The AuraGen, in addition to the military application, is used in industries such as refrigeration trucks, emergency services, telecommunications, utility, marine, oil and gas industry and government services.
The AuraGen/VIPER is now available in 5 kW, 8 kW and 16 kW continuous power levels. All power levels are available in configurations that provide AC or a combination of AC and DC power. The AC power is available in 120 VAC or 240 VAC or both voltages simultaneously. The DC power levels are available in 14 VDC or 28 VDC or both simultaneously. The combined AC/DC system provides the user with the ability to use simultaneously all four different voltages. Later in the year the Company intends to offer a 230 VAC 3 phase solution and support for European and Asian AC standards.
