JAKARTA, July 24 Asia Pulse - Indonesia's tea exports may increase by 8% this year on stronger demand, the National Tea Council said.

Demands for Indonesian tea on the international market is expected to rise on an expected decline in supplies from the world's largest producers Kenya and Sri Lanka.

Indonesia, the world's sixth-largest producer, has a 6% share of the world tea market, trailing Vietnam with a market share of 7%, India 13% and Sri Lanka and Kenya each 20%, the newspaper The Jakarta Post quoted the council as saying.
