Biota Holdings Limited (ASX:BTA) Quarterly Royalties from Relenza

Melbourne, Australia, July 24, 2008 - (ABN Newswire) - Biota Holdings Limited (ASX:BTA)(PINK:BTAHY) today announced that it had received written notification from GlaxoSmithKline (LON:GSK)(PINK:GLAXF) that indicative royalties from Relenza were $0.4m during the three months ended 30 June 2008, on sales of $6.2m.

Indicative royalties and sales advised by GSK, by quarter is summarised below:

In addition, Biota has a key partnership with Daiichi-Sankyo for the development of second generation influenza antivirals.
