The New Zealand dollar eased overnight against the greenback, as the market waited for the Reserve Bank's interest rate decision at 9am today.
Shortly before 8am today, the kiwi was buying US75.13c from US75.56c at 4.30pm yesterday.
ANZ bank said lower commodities overnight and a narrowing yield differential between this country and the US had contributed to sending the NZ dollar lower.
Against the euro the NZ dollar was at 0.4790 from 0.4785, against the yen the kiwi moved to 81.06 from 81.09 yesterday afternoon.
The NZ dollar was also buying A78.09c against the Australian dollar just before today's local open from A77.99c at 4.30pm. The trade weighted index was 67.01 around 7.50am from 67.13.
