TAX ADMINISTRATION IN KAZAHK CAPITAL NEEDS STRENGTHING: CHAIRMAN

ALMATY, July 245 Asia Pulse - Tax administration measures in Kazakhstan's capital Almaty need to be strengthened.

The chairman of Tax Committee of Almaty, Nurila Usenova, made clear this need during the meeting on results of social and economic development of Almaty for the first half of 2008, the agency reports.

"It is necessary to undertake measures on strengthening tax administration and increase of tax control. We need to direct our work on reduction of tax debts. The important work - education of tax payers so that they independently file taxes and pay their obligations," Mr Usenova stated.
