SYDNEY, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Australian shares fell 1.1 percent on Friday as concerns about further losses in the financial services sector percolated through the market following another sell-off on Wall Street where credit crunch worries resurfaced.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index .AXJO fell 52.8 points to 4,930.5 by 0010 GMT, after gaining 3.4 percent over the previous two sessions. ($1=A$1.10) (Reporting by Bruce Hextall)
