Shanghai-based online entertainment and video site Hupo.tv with over 40 million unique monthly visitors and part of BroadWebAsia's network of entertainment and video sites that reach over 70 million unique visitors per month (OTC: BWBA), announced that BroadWebAsia's Hupo.tv selected by CCTV to be a partner in Olympic broadcasting alliance to broadcast videos of the game's opening and closing ceremonies and event videos sourced from CCTV.COM.

Alliance members include Web locations of local TV and radio stations and the following new media companies: Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU), China Telecom (NYSE: CHA, 728.HK) broadband portal Vnet, China Netcom (NYSE: CN, 906.HK) broadband portal CNCMAX, Tudou.com, Youku.com, Tom Online, Joy.cn, 51tv.net, Hupo.tv and Maxtv.cn.
