Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/4d83cf/tomorrows_india_v)
has announced the addition of the "Tomorrow's India V China" report to
their offering.
It is often stated that India will be the next China. This report
examines the relative demographic and socio-economic profiles of these
two countries and how they might change over the next two decades, and
with the ability of India to replicate the China growth story.
The report examines both the differences in the existing and future age
profile of the population, the implications of that for education and
supply of labour. This in turn enables forecasts of number and structure
of households and their relative income levels - both overall and per
capita and the implications of that for consumer demand.
The analysis is at a national level for each country and provides both
historic trends from 1998 to 2006 and forecasts to 2028.
This report is underpinned by an extensive historical database form 1990
to 2006, and a proprietary forecasting model which uses historical
relationships to forecast to 2028.
