WELLINGTON, June 25 (Reuters) - Australian shares were marginally firmer on Thursday as miners and energy stocks rose, offsetting weaker financials.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 gained 5.2 points to trade at 3,812.2 by 0012 GMT, after rising 0.3 percent on Wednesday.
New Zealand's benchmark NZX 50 index .NZ50 gained 0.3 percent to 2,748.1. (Reporting by Adrian Bathgate)
